Why use bananas in your recipes?
Baking with bananas is incredible. Bananas provide an extremely moist texture to your baked goods, are a great binding agent and fat substitute so you can use less oil or butter in your recipes. Last but not least, they act as a natural sweetener which enables you to use way less sugar in your recipes.
If you like sweets, use overripe bananas in your baked goods. For smoothies however, you can use frozen bananas for a creamier texture. Now for a banoffee pie, use yellow bananas as you want them ripe but in no way overripe over your dessert.
