I’ve been trying my hands on the recipe for quite some time (actually years!) and I finally managed to get exactly what I was looking for: a rich, buttery and lemony loaf, moist and tender at the same time, with just the right amount of poppy seed.

Eventually I announced the good news a couple of days ago, was so stressed about it, didn’t even know how I could announce it to you all. But then again, you got me, and your nice words of sympathy really moved me.

There’s a tiny miracle in the oven and I’ve been dying to tell you all about it. My other half and I feel immensely blessed and eternally grateful to be able to share our incredible news with you. This is finally happening: we are expecting a baby!

As some of you may know, the journey to this tiny miracle has been a roller-coaster and a melting pot of emotions. .
For this reason, and out of respect for all couples facing the same struggle, I didn’t want a big announcement about my pregnancy. This is also why I chose to announce it rather later than sooner and remained quiet on social media until now.

But the day has come to finally sharing the big news with you. Still today, it feels a little surreal to me to have this little bun (brioche!) in the oven. ❤️
