These last two weeks, I took up the challenge to create for you a 100% Vegan Christmas Menu. I now gathered all the recipes, plus added a few other festive vegan recipes I personally love, plus a few vegan DIY edible gifts.
This year Christmas is gonna be vegan. And no, it does not necessarily mean that I am vegan myself or that you need to be vegan to make these recipes. The idea behind this project is mostly to show you how vegan cuisine can actually be very creative, fun, and delicious, even for the holidays.
So many people feel completely lost when one or two of their guests happen to be vegetarian, or worse vegan, especially during the holidays season. “What am I gonna cook or bake for him/her?” is a question that often comes back in these situations. With this 100% Vegan Christmas Menu, not only you have a few options to choose from, but you can even go for a full 3-course vegan menu if you wish. I also added a suggestion for a Christmas brunch or tea time, a little baking video, and some DIY edible gifts.
These easy polenta bites topped with caramelized red onions, sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts make a lovely and original “mise en bouche”.
This festive tropical coconut parmentier made with ginger marinated tempeh and grilled pineapple will bring a hint of exoticism to your plate!
This festive vegan gingerbread naked cake with generous caramel frosting layers and sugared cranberries on top makes a beautiful dessert for the holidays or anytime in winter.
Holidays Brunch Time!
These Orange Cranberry Scones are very festive and extremely easy to bake. Made with a perfect crumbly texture and bursting with juicy flavors, they are also entirely vegan!
