Le plus long consiste \u00e0 \u00e9plucher et couper tous les l\u00e9gumes, le reste est un jeu d&#8217;enfant. Cette recette de chili \u00e0 la courge butternut peut aussi se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 l&#8217;avance pour un <em>meal plan<\/em>, se conserve ais\u00e9ment plusieurs jours au r\u00e9frig\u00e9rateur et peut m\u00eame \u00eatre congel\u00e9. Il constitue avec l&#8217;ail une base id\u00e9ale pour le chili.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jalape\u00f1os.<\/strong> Tr\u00e8s \u00e9pic\u00e9, le jalape\u00f1o rend le chili haut en saveurs. J&#8217;ajoute g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un petit jalape\u00f1o coup\u00e9 en d\u00e9s au chili et rajoute un jalape\u00f1o coup\u00e9 en rondelles pour servir.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Haricots rouges + noirs.<\/strong> \u00c9tant tr\u00e8s longs \u00e0 cuire (avec temps de d\u00e9trempe), je recommande de les utiliser en bo\u00eete pour vous gagner un temps pr\u00e9cieux au moment de la r\u00e9alisation de la recette. Vous pouvez utiliser haricots rouges et noirs, ou bien n&#8217;utiliser que des haricots noirs si vous le souhaitez.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quinoa.<\/strong> Je l&#8217;utilise ici pour remplacer la viande h\u00e2ch\u00e9e que l&#8217;on retrouve dans la recette originale du chili. En guise de guide m\u00e9mo, voici les grandes \u00e9tapes cl\u00e9s de la recette \u00e0 retenir :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Je recommande de toujours <strong>commencer par couper tous les l\u00e9gumes<\/strong>. Le seul ingr\u00e9dient qui ne l&#8217;est pas dans la recette, c&#8217;est la cr\u00e8me \u00e9paisse que l&#8217;on utilise comme topping pour servir. Ceci \u00e9tant, il est parfaitement possible de remplacer cette derni\u00e8re par de la cr\u00e8me vegan ou encore du yaourt vegan. De m\u00eame, si vous souhaitez r\u00e9hausser ce chili d&#8217;un peu de cheddar r\u00e2p\u00e9 (ce que je recommande chaudement), vous trouverez des options de fromage r\u00e2p\u00e9 vegan dans la section vegan de votre supermarch\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment accompagner le chili ?<\/h2>\n<p>Dans un chili, les toppings sont aussi importants que le coeur de la recette. Lorsqu&#8217;ils sont bien choisis, ils ajoutent de petit je-ne-sais-quoi qui r\u00e9hausse et souligne les saveurs du plat, tout en lui apportant encore plus de personnalit\u00e9. Tout ce qu&#8217;on aime ! Conservez-le dans une bo\u00eete herm\u00e9tique jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 5 \u00e0 7 jours au r\u00e9frig\u00e9rateur, ou bien au cong\u00e9lateur pendant 3 mois. Bien m\u00e9langer et laisser mijoter encore une minute.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-3\">Verser les tomates, l&#8217;eau\/le bouillon, et porter \u00e0 \u00e9bullition. Ajouter le quinoa, puis r\u00e9duire \u00e0 feu moyen-doux. Cuire le quinoa pendant 15 minutes, ou jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce qu&#8217;il soit bien cuit en ajoutant plus d&#8217;eau si besoin.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-4\" id=\"instruction-step-3\">Ajouter les haricots rouges et les haricots noirs et bien m\u00e9langer. Go\u00fbter et ajuster l&#8217;assaisonnement, en ajoutant plus de chili ou de cumin ou bien plus de sel pour r\u00e9hausser les saveurs.
