Oui oui je sais, c&#8217;est un dessert tr\u00e8s simple mais aussi tr\u00e8s controvers\u00e9 : certains l&#8217;adorent, d&#8217;autres le d\u00e9testent. Pour ma part c&#8217;est un plat qui a une petite saveur d&#8217;enfance puisque ma m\u00e8re le pr\u00e9parait tous les vendredis et nous le servait encore ti\u00e8de au dessert. Trop bon ! Sans jamais suivre de recette, son instinct pour les proportions ne la trahissait jamais. Elle \u00e9tait alors occup\u00e9e \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer du riz au lait au four, une variante qui m&#8217;intrigua sur le champ et j&#8217;ai depuis gard\u00e9 pr\u00e9cieusement la recette griffonn\u00e9e rapidement sur un petit bout de papier bleu. Et aujourd&#8217;hui je suis ravie de vous pr\u00e9senter la fameuse recette traditionnelle de la Teurgoule normande !<\/p>\n<h2>Qu&#8217;est-ce que la Teurgoule ?<\/h2>\n<p>Sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 de riz au lait venant tout droit de Normandie, la Teurgoule tiendrait son nom de &#8220;se tordre la goule&#8221;, r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 une mimique lorsqu&#8217;on mangeait se plat encore un peu trop chaud et qu&#8217;on se br\u00fblait la langue.<\/p>\n<p>Douce et parfum\u00e9e \u00e0 la cannelle, la Teurgoule a pour particularit\u00e9 de se cuire au four plut\u00f4t qu&#8217;\u00e0 la casserole comme pour un riz au lait traditionnel. On la pr\u00e9pare g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement <strong>dans un plat en terre allant au four<\/strong> puis on proc\u00e8de \u00e0 une <strong>cuisson lente de plusieurs heures \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature<\/strong>. Si vous n&#8217;\u00eates pas tr\u00e8s fan de cannelle, vous pouvez la remplacer par une gousse de vanille. Fa\u00eetes ensuite chauffer tous les autres ingr\u00e9dients (lait, b\u00e2tonnet de cannelle et cannelle en poudre, sucre) dans une casserole, de porter le tout \u00e0 \u00e9bullition puis de verser par-dessus le riz. Oui oui, c&#8217;est tout !<\/p>\n<p><b>Et maintenant, au four !\u00a0<\/b>Prenez soin de placer votre plat dans la partie basse du four et enfournez le tout \u00e0 150\u00b0C pour 3 heures et demie. J&#8217;ai fait le test moi m\u00eame et je n&#8217;ai pas d\u00e9test\u00e9 mais ce n&#8217;est pas la partie la plus gourmande du plat. \u00c0 vous de vous faire votre propre avis sur la question.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9gustez la Teurgoule chaude ou encore ti\u00e8de<\/strong>, lorsqu&#8217;elle est encore incroyablement cr\u00e9meuse. Et si vous ne pouvez pas attendre, plongez directement votre petite cuill\u00e8re dans le plat. Cela peut devenir une tradition familiale assez amusante. Et voil\u00e0 \u00e7a y est, maintenant j&#8217;ai faim de riz au lait !!<\/p>\n<p>Vous pouvez d\u00e9guster la Teurgoule <strong>nature ou avec un peu de cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche<\/strong>.
