Rassurez-vous, je ne vais pas commencer \u00e0 faire pousser mes l\u00e9gumes dans la baignoire dans mon appartement situ\u00e9 en plein coeur de Chicago avec cette id\u00e9e de r\u00e9duire encore plus les distances entre la ferme et l&#8217;assiette. Tout cela a d&#8217;abord commenc\u00e9 par une simple blague de mon mari (j&#8217;avoue d&#8217;ailleurs \u00eatre un peu jalouse de ne pas avoir eu l&#8217;id\u00e9e moi m\u00eame). Je dois avouer qu&#8217;il s&#8217;en est d&#8217;ailleurs tr\u00e8s bien sorti (note pour moi m\u00eame : penser \u00e0 le recruter pour le blog \u00e0 l&#8217;occasion !). Donc si on y r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit bien, c&#8217;est un peu un double poisson d&#8217;avril pour vous, le premier \u00e9tant le poisson lui m\u00eame du Tub-to-table tandis que le deuxi\u00e8me repose sur l&#8217;imposteur \u00e0 l&#8217;origine de l&#8217;article.<\/p>\n<p>Le temps du poisson \u00e9tant pass\u00e9, revenons un instant sur les fondements de cette id\u00e9e qui eux sont on ne peut plus s\u00e9rieux. David comme moi sommes soucieux d&#8217;une alimentation responsable, faisant la part belle aux produits bios, principalement d&#8217;origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale et produits autant que possible \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de chez nous. En ce sens, nous rejoignons donc les principes \u00e9nonc\u00e9s par Michael Pollan dans son livre &#8220;In Defense Of Food&#8221; (livre qui par la suite a fait l&#8217;objet d&#8217;un \u00e9pisode de la s\u00e9rie &#8220;Cooked&#8221; sur Netflix). C&#8217;est simple \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer, convivial, avec juste ce qu&#8217;il faut d&#8217;herbes et d&#8217;\u00e9pices. On le sert tel quel, avec de la baguette fra\u00eeche \u00e0 tremper dedans ou bien encore comme j&#8217;ai pu le voir lors de mon s\u00e9jour en Isra\u00ebl il y a quelques temps avec du pain pita, du houmous et une salade de tomates-concombres. J&#8217;ai rapidement googl\u00e9 shakshuka verte pour trouver de l&#8217;inspiration, avant de finalement cr\u00e9er ma propre version de toutes pi\u00e8ces, au gr\u00e9 de mes envies. J&#8217;aime l&#8217;id\u00e9e d&#8217;y ajouter de la feta qui apporte des saveurs sal\u00e9es \u00e0 l&#8217;ensemble, mais sachez qu&#8217;elle est totalement optionnelle et vous pouvez parfaitement r\u00e9aliser une version sans lactose de cette shakshuka verte si vous le souhaitez. Transf\u00e9rer dans une assiette propre et r\u00e9server.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-2\">Placer une large po\u00eale sur feu moyen et y chauffer une cuill\u00e8re \u00e0 soupe d&#8217;huile d&#8217;olive. Ajouter les \u00e9pinards et faire sauter pendant 3-4 minutes. \u00c9goutter dans une passoire en pressant avec le dos d&#8217;une cuill\u00e8re pour se d\u00e9barrasser de l&#8217;exc\u00e8s d&#8217;eau. R\u00e9server.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-3\">Remettre la po\u00eale sur le feu et y faire chauffer une cuill\u00e8re \u00e0 soupe d&#8217;huile d&#8217;olive. Ajouter les \u00e9chalotes et faire sauter pendant 2-3 minutes. Ajouter le cumin, la coriandre moulue et faire sauter encore quelques instants. Saler et poivrer.<\/li>\n<li id=\"instruction-step-4\">Remettre les \u00e9pinards dans la po\u00eale, ajouter le pesto et bien m\u00e9langer. R\u00e9partir en une couche homog\u00e8ne, ajouter les asperges vertes, et cr\u00e9er 5 puits dans la mixture. Y casser un oeuf dans chacune des cavit\u00e9s et laisser cuire 2-3 minutes. Couvrir ensuite pendant 2 minutes afin que le blanc d&#8217;oeuf se fige.
