Oui, encore ! Rassurez-vous, cette fois-ci on ne va pas tr\u00e8s loin, on quitte simplement notre petit nid douillet perch\u00e9 au 21\u00e8me \u00e9tage pour aller explorer de nouveaux quartiers de Chicago. Ce projet est n\u00e9 \u00e0 la base d&#8217;une simple envie d&#8217;avoir un peu plus grand et\u00a0de r\u00eaver\u00a0un peu \u00e0 de nouveaux endroits o\u00f9 l&#8217;on pourrait vivre. On a commenc\u00e9 par faire quelques visites fin d\u00e9cembre juste pour le fun au d\u00e9part, avant de se laisser prendre au jeu pour de bon et de trouver notre nouveau chez nous de r\u00eave tr\u00e8s peu de temps apr\u00e8s. Tout s&#8217;est donc encha\u00een\u00e9 tr\u00e8s vite !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11535\" src=\"https:\/\/www.delscookingtwist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Chicago-Lake-Shore.jpg\" alt=\"Chicago Lake Shore\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.delscookingtwist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Chicago-Lake-Shore.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.delscookingtwist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Chicago-Lake-Shore-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.delscookingtwist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Chicago-Lake-Shore-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 770px) calc(100vw - 40px), 730px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Et bien s\u00fbr, qui dit nouveau chez soi\u00a0dit aussi et surtout\u00a0nouvelle cuisine &#8211; la pi\u00e8ce fondamentale de toute blogueuse culinaire !\u00a0Je suis d&#8217;ailleurs toute excit\u00e9e \u00e0 cette id\u00e9e et ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 h\u00e2te d&#8217;y \u00eatre car elle\u00a0correspond\u00a0exactement \u00e0 ce que je recherchais\u00a0: moderne, spacieuse, avec de nombreux rangements (fondamental, m\u00eame si la moiti\u00e9 de ma cuisine est toujours dans des cartons \u00e0 Stockholm). Et puis surtout au milieu tr\u00f4ne un \u00eelot central mont\u00e9 sur un socle pivotant, permettant d&#8217;assurer l&#8217;harmonie avec le salon ou la salle \u00e0 manger selon l&#8217;ambiance que l&#8217;on souhaite donner \u00e0 la pi\u00e8ce &#8211; j&#8217;adore l&#8217;id\u00e9e ! Ajoutez \u00e0 cela que la lumi\u00e8re est omnipr\u00e9sente puisqu&#8217;un pan de mur entier est recouvert d&#8217;une large baie vitr\u00e9e de haut en bas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;emm\u00e9nagement est pr\u00e9vu ce week-end, donc \u00e0 l&#8217;heure o\u00f9 vous me lisez, je suis probablement en train de faire les cartons,\u00a0avec quand m\u00eame un petit pincement au coeur de quitter cet endroit o\u00f9 nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 partag\u00e9 tant de souvenirs. Tout est arriv\u00e9 si vite que j&#8217;ai encore du\u00a0mal \u00e0 croire que tout cela est r\u00e9el (oui je sais, par le pass\u00e9 j&#8217;ai d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 de France en Su\u00e8de, puis de Su\u00e8de aux \u00c9tats Unis, donc d\u00e9m\u00e9nager aujourd&#8217;hui au sein m\u00eame de Chicago, ce n&#8217;est pas grand chose finalement&#8230; or, \u00e0 chaque fois on laisse un petit peu de soi derri\u00e8re).\u00a0Une chose est s\u00fbre toutefois : il me tarde de vous faire le tour guid\u00e9 de ma nouvelle cuisine. ici, ca fait classe !), je trouve encore d&#8217;autres moyens de travailler de pr\u00e8s ou de loin dans le m\u00eame domaine, le plus souvent en tant qu&#8217;auteur freelance pour divers magazines en ligne. Derni\u00e8rement, j&#8217;ai \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 un tout nouveau projet : donner des classes de boulangerie-p\u00e2tisserie \u00e0 Chicago !<\/p>\n<p>J&#8217;ai toujours beaucoup aim\u00e9 enseign\u00e9, et lorsqu&#8217;il s&#8217;agit de le faire en cuisine, je suis comme un poisson dans l&#8217;eau, j&#8217;adore transmettre ma passion. Apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es \u00e0 donner principalement des cours de p\u00e2tisserie su\u00e9doise, j&#8217;ai donc fait une petite remise \u00e0 niveau dans une boulangerie de Chicago (la vie est surprenante\u00a0! ) avant de renouer pour de bon avec mes origines : enseigner comment faire des baguettes, du pain et autres p\u00e2tisseries fran\u00e7aises. J&#8217;ai donn\u00e9 ma toute premi\u00e8re classe cette semaine et y ai pris beaucoup de plaisir &#8211; 4 heures de pur bonheur avec un groupe enthousiaste, curieux et avide d&#8217;apprendre \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser les meilleurs baguettes de Chicago. Mon tout premier essai \u00e9tait une petite vid\u00e9o pr\u00e9sentant <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/VDgk1qGDToU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">le best of du blog en 2016<\/a>. Il me faut encore travailler mes comp\u00e9tences en la mati\u00e8re et pour cela il me faut de l&#8217;entra\u00eenement et de la pratique, mais je suis en bonne voie et j&#8217;esp\u00e8re pouvoir enfin me lancer dans la r\u00e9alisation de tutoriels vid\u00e9o d\u00e8s que j&#8217;aurai pris possession de ma nouvelle cuisine. Il ya toujours une partie de moi qui r\u00e9siste, une petite peur de sortir des sentiers battus pour exp\u00e9rimenter l&#8217;inconnu, mais maintenant que je viens de vous en faire part ici, je n&#8217;ai pas le choix, il me faut me lancer ! D&#8217;autant que je viens juste de recevoir un nouvel appareil photos pour mon anniversaire &#8211; un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Canon-Rebel-Digital-EF-S-18-135mm\/dp\/B00T3ERIH2\/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1487975943&amp;sr=8-6&amp;keywords=canon+eos+rebel+t6s+dslr\">Canon EOS Rebel T6s<\/a>. Jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 maintenant j&#8217;utilisais un Nikon, donc il me faudra certainement un petit temps d&#8217;adaptation avant d&#8217;en ma\u00eetriser le fonctionnement, mais cela fait partie du jeu\u00a0et il me tarde d\u00e9j\u00e0 de tester mon nouvel objectif 18-135 mm.<\/p>\n<p>Mon autre cadeau d&#8217;anniversaire est \u00e9galement un coup de coeur (j&#8217;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s g\u00e2t\u00e9e) et je ne peux m&#8217;emp\u00eacher de le partager avec vous : j&#8217;ai ainsi re\u00e7u de la part d&#8217;une amie une douzaine d&#8217;adorables petites assiettes <em>vintage<\/em>, avec un design diff\u00e9rent pour chacune d&#8217;entre elles. Il y a-t-il quelqu&#8217;un qui partage mon enthousiasme ici ou bien suis-je simplement victime du syndr\u00f4me des blogueuses culinaires sans cesse \u00e0 la recherche de vaisselle d\u00e9pareill\u00e9e et de toute beaut\u00e9 pour sublimer les plats ? Quoi qu&#8217;il en soit, vous risquez de les retrouver souvent dans mes prochaines recettes. La m\u00e9t\u00e9o\u00a0est des plus capricieuse \u00e0 Chicago ces derniers temps, aved des\u00a0temp\u00e9ratures oscillant entre -11 C \u00e0 +19 C en l&#8217;espace de quelques jours seulement, r\u00e9sultat\u00a0effrayant du r\u00e9chauffement climatique qui est en marche.
