In summer, we all enjoy a very refreshing drink with a hint of exotism, right? Today I suggest you a very easy summer drink with only 3 ingredients and no added sugar.
There is no way you can feel guilty with this mango smoothie. It's only fruit and milk. Instead of sugar, I used half a banana, which also gives this very smooth texture to the smoothie. I wouldn't use more than half a banana though so that its strong flavor does not overtake the delicate mango flavor. Notice that this mango smoothie is not a Lassi (this Indian drink that I really appreciate by the way), just a healthy summer treat with mango.
With only 3 natural ingredients, all we can say is that this very smooth recipe is incredibly easy. Perfect for a breakfast on the go or a delicious snack that you can appreciate without having a bad conscience.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1 cup semi-skimmed milk
1. Make sure all the ingredients are very cold before preparing the smoothie (I recommend you place them for at least one hour in the refrigerator). Slice the ripe banana and dice the mangoes.
2. Mix all the ingredients in a blender for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes a smooth texture. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
